Sponsored by the Lillian Fountain Smith Endowment, we are excited to offer the following awards during the 2026 conference.

 

Best Abstract Award

The first authors of approximately five abstracts will be chosen to receive the Best Abstract Award. Winners will be announced before the conference and will be asked to give a ~15 minute presentation during the Lightning Talk session on Friday morning of the conference (in addition to presenting a poster during the Thursday poster session).  Winners will receive $1,000 each during the awards ceremony.  

 

Best Poster Award

The presenting authors of three posters will be chosen from the poster session to receive the Best Poster Award. Winners will be announced during the conference award ceremony and will receive $500 each.
