What topics will be covered at this year's conference?

This year's speakers will address topics such as: cardiometabolic health, nutrition-related diseases, infant and maternal nutrition, obesity and weight regulation, public health nutrition, nutrition and aging, brain aging and sleep disruption, and insights into the new 2026 dietary guidelines for Americans.

 

Once I register, how will I receive communication?

Our ticketing system, Eventbrite, will send you an automated notification. You will also receive emails from Colorado State University regarding all details. If you don't see emails, please check your filters and spam folder.

 

What meals will be provided?

All tickets include two breakfasts and two lunches, plus happy hour on April 16. Light refreshments, including water, coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided during sessions. 

 

Where can I stay if I am traveling for the conference?

The conference is held at the Hilton Fort Collins, which offers convenient on-site accommodations for attendees. Staying at the conference hotel allows easy access to sessions and networking events.

Fort Collins also offers a variety of nearby hotels and lodging options within a short distance of the venue. Attendees traveling from out of state are encouraged to book accommodations early, as availability may be limited during conference dates. If you are not staying at the Hilton, we recommend The Elizabeth Hotel or the Armstrong Hotel in downtown Fort Collins.

Is parking paid or free?

Parking is free for this event, courtesy of the Hilton Fort Collins. The Hilton will provide a parking code for guests to avoid ticketing.

 

Can attendees earn continuing education credits (CEUs)? How many CEUs are available?

Yes. The conference offers continuing education units (CEUs) for speaker sessions. Attendees can earn up to 8.5 total CEUs. Please submit attendance to Zara Hopkins for your certificate: Zara.Hopkins@colostate.edu.

 

Do I need to attend every session?

No. Attendees are welcome to attend as many sessions as they wish. However, if you are seeking continuing education credits (CEUs), you must attend the full session for which you want to receive credit.
